Okay, one more post for my subscribers. I finally got my subscription feature up and running on my new blog. I thought I did before, but apparently not. For those that subscribed through my TypePad blog using Feedburner (the little tool subscriber thing on the right hand side of my old blog) I finally have it up and going on my new blog. Unfortunately the subscriptions do not carry over so you will have to re-subscribe if you would like to keep receiving updates. Here is a quick-link for you:
This is one of my favorite little guys. I can't believe he is already 18 months old! I have been photographing him every 3 months since he was born so waiting 6 months till he turned 18 months was a long wait. It is going to be weird to only see him once a year for portraits after his 2nd birthday, I think mom needs another one, LOL. It is amazing how fast they grow up and change in that first 2 years of life. Here are a couple of my favorites from this session.
I thought this was a very touching video I found on someone else's blog. I wish I had the resources to adopt a child and thank God there are those out there that do. I follow several blogs of couples adopting from Ethiopia and they are just so touching, amazing to follow their journeys.

I loved this photo shoot! It is one of my favorites for sure. Not only was he at one of my favorite ages at 7 months old (favorite age is between 6 and 9 months old), he was so cute and so happy. That is one of the reason's I love this age though, they usually are happy and content at this age. They can sit up but cannot walk away just yet. They are generally easy to make smile and you can do so many cute things with them. Not that I do not love other ages, but this is for sure my favorite. :o)
Before this session I had an idea for a new image I wanted for my marketing materials. I needed a baby about this age to pull it off and just happened to have this little guy coming for the second time. I felt pretty comfortable asking mom's permission to get the shot I wanted and she was very excited and all for it – thank you mom! It worked out perfect and this little guy is now the front cover of my new website! Here are some others that I loved from our session.
We have been wondering when this milestone would finally happen. My oldest son finally lost his first tooth! He will be 7 in July and as each of his friends have lost theirs one by one, as my son's held fast. He didn't get his first tooth until about 11 months old, so maybe that is why it took him so long? He is VERY proud of it though, even wanting to call his kindergarten teacher right away. I told him he would just have to wait till tomorrow to make the big announcement. Here are some photos to share. :o)
At 6 months old this little guy could crawl. I usually just hope they can sit up at that age for their portraits, never had I seen one that could move so fast! So when mom called to book the 12-month session I knew he would probably be running, and running he was. This little guy was busy-busy, but so much fun! He is just so adorable too!! Maybe next time he will want mom and dad in his pictures, he wasn't sharing the limelight on this day.
